Dear Tenants,                                                          April 22, 2020

It has come to my attention that some people are unaware of what the exact Executive Orders are for our senior housing population. Here are a few of them directly from Governor Cuomo which affect our community directly:

Restaurants: Any restaurant or bar in the state of New York shall cease serving patrons food or beverage on-premises effective at 8 pm on March 16, 2020, and until further notice shall only serve food or beverage for off-premises consumption. (EO 202.3)

Fitness Centers: Any gym, fitness centers or classes, and movie theaters shall also cease operation effective at 8 pm on March 16, 2020 until further notice.

Non-Essential Gatherings: Non-essential gatherings of individuals of any size for any reason (e.g. parties, celebrations or other social events) are canceled or postponed at this time. (EO 202.10)

Until these Executive Orders are amended, we are going to continue our internal operations as they are right now. We have done a wonderful job so far keeping up on our social distancing precautions, wearing masks when in common areas, and generally supporting each other. Keeping it up will only get us back to the new normal, faster.
