        We will be taking a break from COVID-related updates this weekend unless necessary. Instead, in remembrance of Memorial Day we should be taking this time to honor those who have fallen.

        You will notice that we have changed the American Flag flying in the circle and there is an amazing story behind this particular flag. It was donated to us by our very own Joann Smith – it was flown over the United States Capitol on May 23, 2002, at the request of the Honorable Sherwood L. Boehlert, Member of Congress. It was flown for Joann P. Smith for 33 years of Government Service.

        We are honored to have been given this opportunity to fly such a prestigious flag and would like to thank Joann for this gracious gift. Memorial Day is a day to remember and honor all the brave heroes who served to hold our flag high. Let this flag represent our strength and vigor as a community – we will get through this time together, and I wish you all the best weekend possible.
